Empowerment & Diversity
KCWIFT will increase your visibility and recognize your achievements in the industry. Members are encouraged to become an integral part of the KC WIFT community by participating in events and programs as a member, volunteer, teacher and/or a mentor. Among the many special offerings, members can take advantage of scholarship opportunities, film finishing funds and a broad array of monthly events such as screenings, seminars. Membership Opportunities
General Membership
Cost: $45.00
General Members of KCWIFT must currently be or have been engaged in (within the past 3 years) activities directly related to the entertainment industry (including film, radio, television, video, music, theater, performing and culinary arts) or be any individual, business, industry or organization that supports KCWIFT's mission.
Student Membership
Cost: $25.00
Student Members of KCWIFT include high school and college/university students currently enrolled in an academic institution; specifically limited to 4 years for undergraduate and 2 years for graduate students. Student members will be ineligible to vote.
Friends of KCWIFT
Friends of KCWIFT consists of persons with a parent, sibling, or other relation who is or was a lifetime member of WIF or KCWIFT or any individual, business or organization that makes
significant in-kind donations to the chapter. In-kind Friends of KCWIFT are determined by scale of donation and must be approved by the Board.
